Let’s start with this question, since it is the most asked question when someone is getting on board with us. There are a number of template based website services out there that allow you to use their product for cheap. Problem is you are restricted by their rules, service isn’t always the best, and what you are able to accomplish on these platforms is usually limited.

So while these services are usually low cost, you get what you pay for. When it comes to having an effective, clean, professional business or personal website you have to dig into other options to get what you want. Our sites can be whatever you want… if you have it in your mind we can make it happen. So, how much does it cost to get an effective, professional website up in 2017? Well, as is the case with all of our projects prices vary. We don’t do a per page price or per function price. We evaluate what you need, look over everything, come up with a strategy, and then present it to you. You get a flat rate that is agreed on by both parties and then the site is built. We leave wiggle room of course, but with a flat rate for a project you know exactly what you are paying and getting before it even starts.

We can’t say specifically how much your website will cost because we don’t offer template based and function based pricing. That being said, we aren’t looking to break the bank on you, so we will offer you a fair rate for what you need. To give you an idea of how much our sites cost we have done projects ranging from $500 all the way up to $10,000. Again, price is based on what client is looking for and what needs to happen.

We can tell you that our pricing is some of the best in the business, and our website care plans and hosting fees beat all other major companies for what we offer.

No, as stated in the cost section we do not do a per page or per function fee. A flat rate is agreed on before the work starts.

Not at all. We offer the all inclusive services of hosting and website care as part of the offering for clients who want it. However, if you prefer to use another host you are more than welcome. We can still perform website care on other hosts, but we can’t be responsible for anything that goes wrong with that particular hosting system.

If you want us to simply build you site and leave the rest to you after the fact that is fine. We encourage you to host your site on the Eleven Tree Media platform, but you are not obligated to.

You can have as much or as little as you would like. You can have complete access to your hosting cPanel platform and actual website, or you can put your site into our care by getting on board with one of our website care plan options… which has hosting fully integrated into it already.

We are totally hands on or totally hands off, depending on what you want.

No, as a matter of fact we encourage you to have control of your own domain, whether right away or a little down the road after setup. If you would like us to register your domain on your behalf and pay the fees we offer that and you are simply billed yearly for it. However, if you already have your domain name setup in your own account that is great! We simply point it to our platform or to wherever else you want it.

If you do register your domain for you we are more than happy to turn it over to you when you are ready for it by performing a simple domain transfer to your own account.

Yes, as stated above, as much access as you want is given based on what you choose. It is your site, you can change and edit whatever you want and if you run into problems you can access our support system for help.

No, we do not use generic template sites to build websites. That being said, all WordPress, Joomla and Drupal websites use “Themes.” Those themes are then taken and coding and updates are made to get the layout and function that you want. Any web designer or web developer that tells you they do not use themes to build websites is lying to you and you should move forward with caution if that is the case.

What we create for you will be one of a kind, as no two sites we do look alike. You can view our portfolio for more on that. You will get a unique website for what you want. We also follow all web design best practices and standards.

Yes, we have a few in-house graphic designers that we use for that part of the process. These are the same in-house designers we use for all of our logo design work.

Yes, your website will function properly on all current browsers. It will be perfectly responsive on all size screens. That being said, we will not test old or abandoned browsers, for example Microsoft Internet Explorer 6 or 5.5 for Windows or Mac, previous versions of Apple’s Safari, Mozilla Firefox or Opera unless otherwise specified.

Unlike other companies, you don’t pay extra to have a mobile friendly site. The website you get will automatically be mobile friendly and work beautifully on all mobile devices, including smartphones and tablets.

That depends mostly on what exactly the site needs to do and how big it will be initially. Turnaround times vary from 2-weeks to 1month. Once the turnaround time is given we adhere to it and unless we do not receive certain things from you in time. We stick to it and will have your site online by the given project timeline date.

There may be case where the project takes longer than a month, but this would usually be for E-commerce related sites that already have hundreds of products to get up and going.

The issue with billing hourly is that there is really no way to track it. We abandoned hourly based pricing a few years ago due to this fact. Furthermore, flat rate pricing and payments have always worked better. The client knows the exact amount, no matter what it takes for us to get the website going, and both parties are fully aware of the amount of money that is being spent before the project is even started. This always makes everyone more comfortable.

Yes, we perform initial on-page SEO with keywords and layout. We also perform some basic site SEO. To rank in Google it takes fresh content and time, so after the initial SEO work if you feel you want major SEO-SEM service we can perform that for you.

We work with a couple of photographers when needed. Stock photography is included in the overall setup when it is needed. However, we do encourage you to provide us with some photography and graphics (if you have them) that is unique to you.

If not, we will provide all that is needed.

Copyrights are handled and assigned as follows:

You guarantee to us that any elements of text, graphics, photos, designs, trademarks, or other artwork that you provide us for inclusion in the website are either owned by you, or that you have permission to use them.

When we receive your final payment, copyright is automatically assigned as follows:

We transfer any copyright or ownership to the part of the project we created to the client. The finished project is yours. If you host with and use one of our website care plans and then leave you are more than welcome to take the files and the database with you.

In the event that you want to move to a different provider we will indeed move the entire site for you, though there is a transfer fee for that process, but the site is all yours.

You own the graphics and other visual elements that we create for you for this project.

We back up your site and carry the site files. You may request copies but you don’t need them unless you take the site somewhere else. They are saved daily in your cPanel hosting area.

You also own text content, photographs and other data you provided, unless someone else owns them. We own the markup, CSS and other code and we license it to you for use on only this project. We love to show off our work and share what we have learned with other people, so we reserve the right to display and link to your completed project as part of our portfolio and to write about the project on websites, in magazine articles and in books about web design.

Yes, all of our website care plans have hosting already integrated into them. To see what you have access to and what that includes please view the website hosting solutions page.

Our plans are pretty detailed and give you a good rundown of what is included. However, if you are having trouble determining which plan is right for you simply contact us and we will discuss it with you to help you make the right decision.

The price listed is on a per month basis. However, we bill that quarterly (every three months). If you come aboard with us in the middle of a quarter your price is simply pro-rated for that quarter and then a full quarterly invoice is sent at the start of the next payment cycle.

Eleven Tree Media offers customers that are transferring from another web hosting provider our free migration service. There is a limit of 5 cPanel accounts under our free service.

Yes, you can register domain names with Eleven Tree Media. Just contact us to get the process started.

Eleven Tree Media takes disaster recovery very seriously. Even before backing up our servers we take special care in protecting our filesystems against data loss. In addition to this, we back up our servers nightly and retain data for 48 hours. We have you covered.

Our website hosting services along with our website care packages are a per month fee that is billed quarterly. Whenever you sign up you will be pro-rated for that quarter and then billed in full at the start of the next quarter. An invoice is sent along with several payment options.

Yes, we build Apps for clients across the world.

Yes, you send us any app updates and changes and they are updated in real time. You simply restart the app on your device and changes are reflected. These updates come as a part of the monthly fees you pay.

There are certain updates that will cause full app resubmissions to relevant platforms. They include:

• App Name Change
• Icon Change
• Splash Screen Changes
• Any Orientation Changes

Yes! Once we have built the app we will send out the demo to you and anyone else you want. This allows you to test and play with the app before we submit it to all relevant platforms. Any changes and/or fixes can still be made.

Yes, your app can be monetized in a number of ways. If you are interested in monetizing your app we will go over a few different choices with you.

Yes, we can make your app available for free or for sale in app stores.

Very simply… you do. Once payment is received and files are given to you we hold no copyright over the design. You are free to do with it what you wish, how you wish.

*We do ask that you allow us to display the final design on our site as part of our portfolio.

We do not limit you to one type of file. We want you to be able to use your logo on anything and everything. Upon completion you receive your designs in all of the following file formats:

• Raw Vector (EPS)
• PNG
• JPG
• TIF
• PDF
• AI
• PSD
• SVG

One of the things we offer that many other logo design sites do not is unlimited revisions (within reason). We will provide you with multiple concepts (depending on the logo package you choose). From there you will provide us thoughts and feedback. This will allow us to deliver exactly what you want.

Do you like a font on one concept and a color on another? Want to combine different aspects of different concepts together? No problem? We take your feedback and work toward a final product design until you are 100% satisfied with the result.

We will deliver you logo design concepts within 3 days of starting the project. We don’t do “rush” orders because more often than not it takes away from design quality and process.

After we receive feedback will will put all those thoughts together toward coming up with a final product. Actual timetable after that depends on how many revisions are needed.

Yes, definitely. You will be put in touch with a personal In-House designer who will be your main contact throughout the design process. You will not have to deal with multiple emails from different accounts and you will not have to deal with calls coming from random designers. Your designer will be the same from start to finish.

No, we are not fans of doing work in “hopes” of getting paid. It isn’t fair to our designers and isn’t how we operate.

“Speculative Work” or, “spec work” is not something we deal with. There are dozens and dozens of “contest” sites where you can get that type of work done.

Our designers are technically freelancers, but we have only the best of the best (at least we think so). Any designer you are put in contact with has gone through the process of being interviewed and vetted. Design history and samples have been provided and we guarantee only the best designers for your project.

As of right now all of our designers reside in the United States.

Yes. We ask for no sensitive information on our site. You provide us your name and email during the “start your project” process, but no SSN.

If you use one of our on-site payment methods they are fully encrypted using the SSL security process and all your financial information is safe. Payments made off-site through PayPal are secured by their encryption standards and practices keep your information safe and secure.

Well, to sum it up quickly and simply… we do not share or sell your information to any third party without your permission. We treat all our clients the way we would want to be treated by someone else.

Making payments to us depends on what service/s you are using with us. Some things, like Logo Design projects, are paid for up front through the “Start Your Logo Design Project Form.”

App Development projects and Website Design projects are agreed upon ahead of start time while monthly services are actually billed quarterly.

We accept all major credit and debit cards. You can also use any form of Payment through PayPal, as well as PayPal Credit. No, you do not have to have a PayPal account to use PayPal. You can pay fees for certain projects and services through secure payment forms on our site, or through an invoice billing system we use for clients. We also accept checks but project will not start until the check clears.
